Luke 5: 4-6
And when he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” And Simon answered, “Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.” And when they had done this, they enclosed a large number of fish, and their nets were breaking.
Reflection
You’ve probably tried and failed at something so many times that you felt like giving up. You did everything you knew how to do. You gave it your best effort. And still…nothing worked.
Often it’s because we tend to do things our way and want it done in our timing.
But when you give it to God, Heaven backs you. And when God guides your steps, even the impossible can become possible. Sometimes our greatest breakthroughs happen at the point of full surrender and obedience. It means trusting God even when it doesn’t make sense, and obeying His command – just like Simon did.
With God, all things are possible, and His timing is always perfect. When you choose to follow His voice, nothing can stop what is meant for you – because it’s not by your own might, but by the power of God.
Let's Pray Together
Thank You, LORD, for Your perfect timing and power. Help me to trust Your voice, follow Your lead, and surrender my plans to You.
May I obey even when it doesn’t make sense, knowing that nothing can stop what is meant for me.
